It is about the history of New Brighton pier.
I hope you like my presentation, please comment your thoughts about what you like and what I could improve on.
Thank you!

Hello Hayley, I think you have done an amazing job researching about the pier and putting so much information into your slideshow. I have spent a lot of time at the beach and really enjoyed learning more about the pier that I have visited so often. Maybe you could keep the text the same throughout your presentation to help it look a little more professional? Did anyone get hurt when the scaffolding feel down in during Cyclone Gita?
ReplyDeleteHello Mr Adams,
ReplyDeletethanks for your comment! I'll remember to think about my text style when I write on my chromebook.
No, no one got hurt from the scaffolding. A boat arrived with divers to clean up the remaining parts of the scaffolding that hadn't drifted away in the ocean. The crew told the community that everyone had to stay 20metres away from the pier for safety reasons. (It was a busy day for the surf lifesaving club keeping everyone safe by reminding people to stay away from the pier!)
Wow! Thanks for the reply and informing me with all the great information! I can't wait for your next post. Keep up the great work.
