Footsteps Challenge

In Room 1 we are doing The Footsteps Challenge, this involves a range of different tasks to complete by the end of the year. One of the challenges we have had to do so far is to improve our garden.
For this challenge I have planted some winter vegetables such as: lettuce, celery, broad beans and spinach and created a tunnel shelter for the veges out of chicken cage wire and plastic bags.

Here are some photos of our progress so far...

 Me planting the veges.

This is after I have planted everything in my garden.

  1. Kia ora Gabe!
Thanks for you feedback. I think my garden would look nice with some flowers, I'll add some soon.
For the covers, find some chicken cage wire or something similar, then get 1-3 plastic bags and strap them over the chicken cage wire with duck-tape, (and don't put to many plastic bags on as you wouldn't want to overheat the plants!) I find chicken cage wire is easy to use because it is bendable and you can cut it into any shape using wire cutters.
    Thank you,
    Hayley
